I can say that I respect her stand. I can also say that I believe the time has come to start releasing people wrongly arrested and put behind bars for something no man has the right to regulate or stop us from growing or using as we see fit. It is nothing short of a tragedy to see the life of a young man at 18 years of age be ruined for growing,smoking,or selling an herb when a system I have seen pushing drugs with the backing of our Government has already been proven to destroy lives. I am talking about anti-depressants,Ritalin,and a number of other drugs sold and advertised by pharmaceutical companies in which they earn billions a year,giving parents no other alternatives with less side effects to give to our children. Legal drug pushers with one goal,and that goal is making money. They have no way of knowing what long term effects these drugs have,and even if they do those drugs will not be pulled unless the bad far out ways the good. Not to mention the people who sue when one of these drugs take the life or cause harm to a family member,but settle out of court and are never allowed to speak about it to the public,so we never know about it and these drugs are still being sold.
Although you might not be all for getting high from a nice toke of the sticky green,I think it is still a very clear picture that people should not be locked away like animals until the Government and the Corporations can figure out away to line their own pockets doing the same thing,selling weed.
It's time to let them out of jail and clear their records.
